POLO-WDC joins the world community in the 16-Day Campaign to End VAW, an advocacy campaign that is observed annually from November 25 to December 10. Further in observance of Proclamation 1172 s. 2006 promulgated by then President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, the national campaign is extended to 18 days, including December 12, a historic date that marking the signing in the year 2000 of the UN Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, especially Women and Children, to supplement the UN Convention Against Transnational Organized Crimes.

POLO-WDC, in support of the Philippine Commission on Women, and in coordination with the Philippine Embassy, will hold a series of information, education and communication campaign in the United States and Caribbean Islands.
