Look: MWO-WDC officials meet with J-1 teachers and advocates to discuss ways to address recurring issues confronting these teachers who are participants of the Exchange Visitor Program (EVP) of the United States.

In a recently held meeting at the Migrant Workers Office of the Philippine Embassy, Immigration lawyer Arnedo Valera and Ms. Jenny Hona-Davis of the Valera Law Office together with United Federation of Fil-Am Educators, Inc.(UNIFFIED)-Maryland President Malou Cadacio and J-1 teachers Rachel Agcaoili and Chast Maraon presented to the MWO the list of issues faced by the teachers and some recommendations to address them.

The MWO team committed to review the issues and endorse policy proposals to the Department of Migrant Workers and the EVP Committee in the Philippines.

Migrant Workers Office (MWO) as Mr. Saul de Vries (2nd from right) once again leads the MWO.
